1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GRDO Bharat Bazaar, the official online retail platform of Global Research Development Organisation (hereinafter referred to as “GRDO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) headquartered in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

By accessing, browsing, registering, or making a purchase on www.grdobharatbazaar.com (the “Website” or “Platform”), you (the “User”, “Customer”, or “Buyer”) unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&C” or “Agreement”), our Privacy Policy, and all other policies referenced herein.

If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Website. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and Global Research Development Organisation under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

GRDO Bharat Bazaar is a social commerce initiative by Global Research Development Organisation, established to promote transparent trade, fair pricing, and direct market access for authentic, locally produced Indian goods. Our mission aligns with promoting sustainable living, supporting Indian artisans and farmers, and delivering healthy lifestyle products rooted in Indian tradition.

3. User Accounts & Registration

3.1 Mandatory Registration

An account is mandatory to place any order on GRDO Bharat Bazaar. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

• You are a natural person capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law.
• All information provided during registration is accurate, current, truthful, and complete.
• You will keep your account information updated at all times.
• You are the rightful owner of the email address and phone number provided.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password). You agree to:

• Not share your login credentials with any third party.
• Log out from your account after each session on shared devices.
• Notify GRDO Bharat Bazaar immediately at the contact details provided in Section 20 if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

GRDO shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

3.3 One Account Policy

Each individual is permitted to maintain only one active account. GRDO reserves the right to merge or terminate duplicate accounts.

3.4 Account Accuracy

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information during registration or at any point thereafter is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

4. Orders & Payments

4.1 Order Placement

All orders placed on the Website are subject to product availability and final acceptance by GRDO Bharat Bazaar. The display of any product on the Website does not constitute an offer to sell. An order is only confirmed when you receive an official Order Confirmation email or SMS from us.

GRDO reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at any time, including after confirmation, at our sole discretion, particularly in cases of:

• Pricing errors or product description inaccuracies.
• Suspected fraudulent or unlawful activity.
• Non-availability of the product.
• Delivery limitations to the specified address.

4.2 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following modes of payment:

• UPI — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and all UPI-enabled banking apps
• Credit Card — Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, and other supported networks
• Debit Card — All major Indian bank debit cards
• Net Banking — All major Indian banks
• Cash on Delivery (COD) — Available at select pincodes (see Section 5)

4.3 Payment Security

All online payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. GRDO Bharat Bazaar does not store your full card details or UPI credentials on our servers. You are advised to use secure, personal devices and networks when making payments.

4.4 Pricing & GST

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. GST (Goods and Services Tax) as applicable under Indian law will be calculated and displayed clearly at checkout. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, the price at the time of order confirmation shall apply to that order.

4.5 Order Cancellation by Customer

A customer may cancel an order at any time before the order has been dispatched/shipped. To request cancellation, please contact us immediately via the Contact page or email. Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is not possible and the Return & Refund Policy (Section 7) will apply.

4.6 Order Cancellation by GRDO

GRDO Bharat Bazaar reserves the right to cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to stock unavailability, payment failure, suspected fraud, or operational constraints. In such cases, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Terms

Cash on Delivery is available at select serviceable pincodes. The following terms apply specifically to COD orders:

5.1 COD Availability

COD is available only at pincodes where our logistics partners support it. COD availability will be indicated at checkout based on the delivery pincode entered.

5.2 Payment at Delivery

The exact order amount (as confirmed in the order summary) must be paid in cash to the delivery partner at the time of delivery. Please keep the exact change ready. Our delivery partners are not obligated to carry change for large denominations.

5.3 COD Refusal by Delivery Agent

Our delivery partner reserves the right to refuse delivery if:

• The delivery address is inaccessible or incorrect.
• The customer is unavailable at the time of delivery after prior notification.
• There are safety concerns at the delivery location.

5.4 Failed COD Delivery

If a COD delivery attempt fails due to customer unavailability, a re-delivery attempt will be made (subject to logistics partner policy). If delivery fails after the stipulated number of attempts, the order will be returned to our warehouse and the customer’s account may be flagged for future COD orders.

5.5 COD Refunds

In the event of a return or cancellation for a COD order, refunds will be processed via direct bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) or UPI to the account details provided by the customer. COD refunds are typically processed within 7 to 10 business days of the return being received and verified.

5.6 COD Misuse

Repeated rejection of COD deliveries without valid reason, or placing orders with no intent to receive them, constitutes misuse of the COD facility. GRDO reserves the right to suspend the COD option for such accounts.

6. Shipping & Delivery

6.1 Delivery Zones

GRDO Bharat Bazaar currently delivers to selected states across India. Deliverability to a specific pincode can be verified at checkout. We are continuously working to expand our delivery network. If your area is not currently serviceable, we encourage you to check back periodically.

6.2 Standard Delivery Timeframe

Orders are typically delivered within 3 to 5 business days from the date of order confirmation. Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual delivery may vary due to:

• Geographic location and distance from dispatch centre in Ghaziabad.
• Weather conditions, natural disasters, or force majeure events.
• Public holidays or regional shutdowns.
• Logistics partner constraints or high-volume periods (festivals, sales).
• Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer.

6.3 Shipping Charges

Free shipping is applicable on orders exceeding the minimum order value as displayed on the Website. Orders below the threshold will attract a shipping fee, which will be clearly communicated at checkout prior to payment. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

6.4 Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, a tracking link or number will be shared via email or SMS. You may track your order through the “My Account” section on the Website.

6.5 Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate, complete, and accessible delivery address at the time of placing the order. GRDO shall not be held responsible for non-delivery or delayed delivery due to an incorrect or incomplete address. Re-delivery charges may apply in such cases.

6.6 Risk & Title

Risk of loss and title for purchased products pass to the customer upon successful delivery. In case of non-delivery due to logistics partner error, GRDO will arrange a replacement or full refund.

7. Returns & Refund Policy

7.1 Return Window

Customers may initiate a return request within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of delivery. Return requests raised after this window will not be entertained, except under exceptional circumstances at GRDO’s sole discretion.

7.2 Eligible Conditions for Return

Returns will be accepted under the following conditions:

• The product received is physically damaged or structurally defective.
• A wrong product (different from what was ordered) was delivered.
• The product is expired or within 7 days of its expiry date at the time of delivery.
• The product is missing components, accessories, or quantity as described.
• Any other valid reason arising in the normal course of business, as assessed and approved by GRDO.

7.3 Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

• The return request must be raised within the 7-day window.
• The product must be in its original, unused condition (where applicable).
• Original packaging, seals, labels, and tags must be intact.
• A clear photograph or video of the damaged/incorrect/expired product must be submitted along with the return request.
• The original invoice or proof of purchase must be included.

7.4 Non-Returnable Items

The following categories are not eligible for return:

• Products that have been used, opened, or consumed (unless defective or expired).
• Perishable goods that have exceeded their natural shelf life post-delivery.
• Products explicitly marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page.
• Products damaged due to customer mishandling, improper storage, or negligence.

7.5 Return Process

1. Raise a return request via the Contact page or email within 7 days of delivery.
2. Provide your Order ID, reason for return, and supporting photographs/videos.
3. Our team will review and respond within 2 to 3 business days.
4. Upon approval, our logistics partner will arrange a pickup from your address.
5. Once the product is received and inspected at our warehouse, refund will be processed.

7.6 Refund Policy

Upon successful verification of the returned product, a full refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase:

• UPI / Credit / Debit / Net Banking: Refund within 5 to 7 business days.
• COD Orders: Refund via bank transfer or UPI within 7 to 10 business days.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to GRDO’s error (wrong or defective product). GRDO reserves the right to deduct reverse logistics charges in certain cases.

If you have not received your refund within the stated period, please check with your bank or payment provider before contacting us, as processing times may vary.

8. Product Quality, Food Safety & Disclaimers

8.1 Food Safety Compliance

All food products listed on GRDO Bharat Bazaar are sourced from suppliers who comply with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations. GRDO endeavours to ensure that all listed products meet applicable safety and quality standards.

8.2 Shelf Life & Expiry

The shelf life and best-before dates of products are as printed on the original packaging. GRDO guarantees that products dispatched from our warehouse will have a minimum usable shelf life of at least 30 days at the time of dispatch, unless otherwise specified on the product page.

8.3 Storage Instructions

Customers are advised to follow storage instructions as mentioned on product labels. Improper storage after delivery (such as exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures) may affect product quality and will not be grounds for return or refund.

8.4 Allergen Disclaimer

Several products on our platform — particularly spices, masalas, and food items — may contain allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, sesame, or mustard. Customers with known food allergies or sensitivities are strongly advised to:

• Read the product label and ingredient list carefully before purchase and consumption.
• Consult a medical professional if in doubt about suitability for specific health conditions.

GRDO Bharat Bazaar shall not be held liable for any adverse reactions due to allergen sensitivities that are disclosed on the product packaging.

8.5 Product Imagery Disclaimer

Product images and descriptions on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. Actual product packaging, colour, size, or weight may vary slightly from what is depicted online due to lighting, screen resolution, or packaging updates by the manufacturer.

9. Discounts, Coupons & Promotional Offers

9.1 Offer Validity

All discount offers, promotional pricing, coupons, and sale events on GRDO Bharat Bazaar are time-limited and subject to availability. GRDO reserves the right to modify, extend, withdraw, or cancel any promotional offer at any time without prior notice.

9.2 Coupon Usage

Coupons and promo codes are subject to the following conditions:

• Each coupon code is valid only for the duration and products specified in the offer.
• Coupons are for single use only per customer unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Coupons cannot be combined or stacked with other ongoing offers unless expressly permitted.
• Coupons have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
• GRDO reserves the right to disqualify any transaction where coupon misuse or abuse is suspected.

9.3 Discount on Listed Price

All discounts shown on the Website are calculated against the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) or our own listed price. GRDO Bharat Bazaar complies with consumer protection regulations regarding the display of discounts and does not engage in misleading pricing practices.

9.4 Newsletter Discount

A one-time 20% discount offered to new newsletter subscribers is applicable only on the first order placed after subscription and is subject to a minimum order value. Only one newsletter discount per customer is permitted.

10. Third-Party Sellers & Brands

10.1 Role of GRDO

GRDO Bharat Bazaar operates primarily as a direct seller of products sourced and stocked by Global Research Development Organisation. However, certain products listed on the Website may belong to independent third-party brands or sellers (for example, the “Kashish” brand of spices and masalas).

10.2 Third-Party Brand Responsibility

For products belonging to third-party brands:

• The respective brand or manufacturer is solely responsible for product quality, labelling accuracy, FSSAI compliance, and ingredient authenticity.
• GRDO Bharat Bazaar acts as a facilitator of sale and is not the manufacturer or producer of such products.
• GRDO makes reasonable efforts to ensure that listed third-party products meet safety and quality standards, but cannot independently verify every claim made by manufacturers.

10.3 Limitation of GRDO’s Liability for Third-Party Products

To the extent permitted by law, GRDO’s liability in relation to third-party brand products is limited to facilitating the return, replacement, or refund process in accordance with our Returns Policy (Section 7). Claims regarding product defects, misrepresentation, or harm caused by third-party products should be directed to the brand’s own customer care as well.

The Website may contain links to external third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. GRDO does not endorse or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party websites.

11. Data Collection & Privacy Policy

15. Account Suspension & Termination

15.1 Suspension by GRDO

GRDO Bharat Bazaar reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any user account, with or without prior notice, in the following circumstances:

• Violation of any provision of these Terms & Conditions.
• Provision of false or fraudulent information.
• Repeated COD misuse or order cancellations without valid reason.
• Suspected fraudulent transactions or chargebacks.
• Any activity that may harm GRDO, other customers, or third parties.

15.2 Effect of Termination

Upon account termination:

• All pending orders placed before termination will be fulfilled unless there is a specific legal or safety concern.
• Any confirmed refunds due to you will be processed in accordance with Section 7.
• Your right to access the Website and your account will immediately cease.
• Data associated with your account will be retained as per our data retention policy (Section 11.4).

15.3 Account Deletion by User

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us via the details in Section 20. Account deletion requests will be processed within 30 days, subject to resolution of any pending orders or disputes.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Global Research Development Organisation shall not be held liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
• Delays in delivery or non-delivery due to force majeure events (acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, floods, strikes, government actions, war, or civil unrest).
• Product descriptions, images, or specifications that may vary slightly from the actual product.
• Any damage, loss, or injury arising from the use or misuse of products after delivery.
• Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the Website due to technical issues beyond our control.
• Unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to maintain account security.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or purchase of products shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product(s) giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits GRDO’s liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

17.1 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, including but not limited to the Indian Contract Act 1872, Consumer Protection Act 2019, Information Technology Act 2000, and other applicable legislation.

17.2 Jurisdiction

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the breach thereof, or the use of the Website or purchase of products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

17.3 Consumer Disputes

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 2019, consumers may also approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District, State, or National level) based on the value of the dispute. GRDO supports the consumer’s right to seek redressal through these forums.

17.4 Amicable Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to make a genuine effort to resolve any dispute amicably through direct communication. Disputes may be raised with our Grievance Officer (Section 19) who will endeavour to provide a resolution within 30 days.

18. Modifications to Terms & Conditions

GRDO Bharat Bazaar reserves the right to update, revise, modify, or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions at any time, in accordance with changes in applicable laws, business practices, or platform policies.

When material changes are made to these Terms, we will notify users through one or more of the following methods:

• A prominent notice on the Website homepage or at the time of login.
• An email notification to the registered email address on your account.
• An SMS notification to the registered mobile number.

Changes will become effective on the date specified in the notice. Continued use of the Website after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

19. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, GRDO Bharat Bazaar has designated a Grievance Officer to address complaints and concerns from users.

If your grievance is not resolved satisfactorily within the stipulated time, you retain the right to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or other competent authority.
